RG3

RobertGriffin III shows just how good he is raising the Redskins above the Saints 40-32 in his rookie appearance. Big numbers by this rookie completing 19 of his 26 passes for 320 yards, and 2 touchdowns. The two guys RG3 found in the end zone was, WR’s Pierre Garcon who had 4 receptions for 109 yards and Aldrick Robinson who also had 4 receptions for 52 yards. On the defensive side of things both DeJon Gomes, and ReedDoughty had an interception helping win this one against the Saints.

The Comeback

What a comeback for Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning leading his team to a 31-19 win over the hard hitting Pittsburgh Steelers. After tacking last season off Peyton makes a phenomenal debut throwing for 253 yards and 2 TD’s, Manning also managed to throw for his 400th career touchdown being the only player to do so, in only 209 games. With only 2 other players in the NFL to reach 400 TD’s (Brett Favre) (Dan Marino) Manning is the only one to reach this outstanding number with the fewest passes with 7,226. It was all Peyton all day in this one he has showed us all why he still remains number one.

In The Books

Tony Romo steals the show in this one throwing for 307 yards for 3 TD's leading the Cowboys over the Giants. On top of Romo’s stifling first game performance completing 22/29 passes in his first game, the cowboys defense was spot on holding New York to 269 yards of total offence. Romo’s right hand man tonight was WR Kevin Ogletree with 2 TD’s on 114 yards receiving. Tony Romo and the Cowboys take this one 24-17 leaving the Giants empty handed tell net week.

BottomOf The 10th

The D-Backs try and hold on as they fall short to San Francisco 9-8 in the 10th.  The Giants started off strong once again only to find themselves down 7-4 in the 6th.  Brandon Crawford got things rolling again in the 8th witch then lead to a Marco Scutaro single to left in the 10th that scored Crawford  for the win.
